Civil War Monument, Iowa Capitol Grounds

Come join us! We hope to see you at a future meeting of the Des Moines Civil War Round Table. We are a nonprofit educational organization devoted to the study of the American Civil War and Iowa's role in it. The Round Table was officially formed in 1964, and continues to meet regularly in the Des Moines, Iowa, metropolitan area.

Our programs are free of charge and open to the public. They include a wide variety of presentations on Civil War topics, and sometimes include tours, drama, and musical offerings. An optional social hour and dinner precedes each program. Advanced reservations are required for all dinners.

NEXT MEETING: August 27, 2014
